About this book: Debut author Scott Sauls tackles a heavy topic in his first time out: the polarisation of social and political topics among Christians in American culture. Instead of taking sides, Sauls offers a better way – following Jesus through it all.
My take on the book: I found Sauls’ writing quite dry, so the book didn’t keep my interest. I probably agree with the author on most of the content, and may someday be able to work my way through; for now, I’m setting his name aside as one to check out in future books when he might have defined a writing style that works for this reader. I’d recommend the book to those who love to follow politics (and I usually don’t).
