Review: Heaven is For Real (Burpo/Vincent)

I really enjoyed this audiobook and zipped through it in one day. (Previously, I’d listened to a novel or two that were a few hours longer than this book but took the entire two-week lending period to finish.) I liked Todd Burpo’s storytelling style and found the family’s story very interesting. I’d expected most of the book to be about Colton’s info about heaven, but the story was well-rounded and let me get to know the family in addition to giving Colton’s experience. I’d recommend this one to anyone and everyone!

Is there life after death? Just ask 4-year-old Colton, who emerged from life-threatening surgery with astounding details about heaven! Colton’s detailed account includes floating away, looking down on his dad praying in the hospital, seeing God’s throne, and meeting relatives – including his sister who died in a miscarriage (and whom his parents had never mentioned).
