Review: It’s Not About Me (Max Lucado)

This is a great little book that I knew I needed from seeing the title in my library’s online catalogue. I like how Lucado comes up with analogies and stories that revive the lessons I should already have been living. (Raised in the church, so you’d think I should not only know it all by now, but live it as well. Doesn’t quite work that way!)

God is the center of the universe – not us – and our lives reach their highest potential in His eyes when we honor Him. Despite problems, pain and suffering, learn how to reflect His glory in your life and become His mirror to the world, because it’s all about Him. It is through this shift in thinking that we can truly live an unburdened, happy life.
